This year Logan's Scoutmaster/Cub master decide to step down. Roger and his wife Sandra have been with the scouts for 15 years. We have known them since Logan was in kindergarten so it was a bit upsetting to see them go. We had a really nice Thank you dinner in conjunction with the Cub Scouts.
We did a normal opening ceremony and the presented Roger and Sandra with certificates of appreciation and a plague as well as service scouting statue. The boy's then presented a flag to Roger in a military retirement fashion. Staring with Tiger's and going all the way to Eagle and then to Mrs. Turner to present to Roger. It was very touching and a nice tribute to his years of dedication.
