On Monday we took kids to zoo. It was just a way to spend sometime together and get out of the house! It was a beautiful day! We took our time and strolled around looking at the animals. We laughed at the otters as they playfully wrestled and frolicked around in their enclosure! One even came over to inspect the glass were we stood watching!
The kids climbed to the top to observe all them at once and Dewey and I stood below watching a few wrestle!
We also spent a good bit of time in with the birds. The kids loved hand feeding the lareets and other numerous birds.
We were only disappointed in the fact the giraffes were not close to the feeding deck. By the afternoon they had long had their bellies full! So if you want to catch that great part ...you have to go early!
After we finished up we went a the kids fished from a boat and we goofed off before we headed on up the beach! It was a pretty nice day!
