Halloween Camp

This weekend we had the Cub Family Halloween Camp out at La No Chee. It was a good time with all the boys and their families. It was really nice this year because most of Logan's friends from school have moved to his pack. So the kids got to spend time with their friends from school like the Miller's and the Murphy's.
The weekend was long. We got rained on Friday night. I think we hiked 30 miles. The boys and girls did Archery, BB guns, swimming and then Ms. Ford ( whom is also a teacher from Milestone) taught them a song where they used forest finds to make music. The kids were very creative. They used dry palm fronds, pine cones, and sticks. It was really a good time .
That evening was the Halloween parade ...then a Haunted House, a Haunted Trail and Trick or Treating around the camp sights. Then the kids had a sing along around the camp fire with Ms. Ford. They were so tired some were falling asleep in their chairs and no one said a word when we told them lights out. They went straight to bed.
Sunday we came home to debug and found a few ticks but mostly the girls got eaten by chiggers. We are still trying to clear up Lindsey and Jackie's legs. Little Ms. Hannah, Ryan's sister was the only one spared. I think because of her dinosaur outfit!
